Sergeant Bailey has more than 17 years of dedicated law enforcement experience, with expertise in patrol, traffic, and investigations. A former SWAT team member and certified police instructor, he is a well-rounded professional with extensive skills in diverse operational and training roles. Now, Sergeant Bailey is thrilled to serve on the recruiting team, passionately seeking top talent to join Denton PD and strengthen its commitment to public safety.

Clint McCoy has built a law enforcement career that spans 27 years. While he currently serves on the Recruiting team, Clint has spent 18 years in General Crimes, Major Crimes, and Background investigations.

Prior to focusing on investigations, Clint served as a patrol officer for two years and a School Resource Officer for seven years.

Detective Samy Sanchez began his law enforcement career over 22 years ago after honorably serving his country in the United States Air Force. After spending four years at Abilene Police Department, Samy came to Denton PD where he has enjoyed a diverse career. He has served on the Community Response Team (CRT) and Bike Team, as well as providing mentorship as a Field Training Officer (FTO). In addition, he also spent seven years in the Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB).
 

Samy is certified as a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) instructor and holds a Master Peace Officer License. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Midwestern State University.
